Welcome to Pianimation!

If you’re reading this, you’ve probably made the trip over from jenspianostudio.wordpress.com.  You’ll find all of the old blog posts from that site, plus all of the downloadable teacher resources from jenspianostudio.com here – all in one place!   I’m VERY excited about this new site… and promise to post lots and lots of fun ideas and games in the coming months to make the move worth your while!

Here’s what you need to know about the new site:

If you previously subscribed to blog posts via email or an RSS reader, you’ll need to re-subscribe.  Use the RSS icon right below the header of this page, or look for an email subscription option over on the right sidebar.

If you previously followed posts via Facebook or Twitter, you’ll still get them.  You’ll just notice they have a new name now.  If you don’t already get posts via these sites, but would like to, click on the icons up underneath the header of the page.

And now, to celebrate….

To celebrate the launch of this site, we’re having a moving sale!  From now until July 1st, ALL books and materials in the online store (check out the tab above) are available at a 10% discount.  Simply enter the coupon code “MOVING10″ at checkout to receive 10% off your entire order.

AND… this post officially marks my 102nd blog post (I just missed launching on milestone post #100!). Just for fun, in honor of those 2 extra posts that slipped by, I’m going to give away 2 copies of ANY eBook or product in the online store.  To enter the give-away, just leave a comment on this post and let me know which book or product you’d like to win.  The deadline for entry is 12:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1st (CDT). I’ll announce the 2 winners later that morning.  For an extra entry, repost information about the new site and giveaway on Facebook or another blog and leave me a comment to tell me you’ve done so.

Thanks for dropping in to check out the new site!

  7. I have been teaching and performing on the piano for over 50 years now, and continue to
enjoy both. Recently bought my first computer and discovered piano teacher blogs.
Yours was one of the first that I subscribed to….so if I “win”, please send me Technique
Tune ups. . Hello to fellow Canadian Anne Crosby, who compositions my students have
always enjoyed. Thank you Jen, for an interesting site for me to learn from.

  8. Hi there from Australia. Just took advantage of the discount on your new site & purchased some of your books to use. They look fantastic & cant wait to try them out with my students. Didn’t purchase the theory or technique ones so they would be good to win. Thanks.

  9. Hi from the UK!..word is spreading!
I have recently discovered your site and have been enthusing about it to piano teachers I meet. We are a bit slow off the mark in the UK with studio sites and blogs but the inpsiration of yourself and others is beginnning to take root and a few UK sites are emerging. I think it’s just such a fantastic way to keep in touch with the piano teachers world wide and learn from different countries approaches to piano pedagogy.
Thank you so much for sharing your resources, and ideas but most of all for sharing your enthusiasm & fun!
